My Story - Ending My Denial
On that same trip my brother and I had received an emergency call from work, one of our
employees had suffered a heart attack and passed away. I hadn't known him long, but his death had a tremendous impact because he was heavy - just like me - and only slightly older. That's when I realized that I did not have much of a future if I didn't make some serious life style changes.

It's ironic that in the city of over-indulgence, where visitors are never more than 50 feet from an all you can eat buffet, was where I decided to start dieting and exercising. It was the beginning of a long and challenging journey. More importantly it marked the end of my denial. I stopped blaming the mirror for my unflattering reflection. Before finding solutions, first I had to define My Problems.
